The home is furnished with high-class antiques, and is provided with all the most modern appliances. We have equipped the apartment to help visitors enjoy the dazzling art and architecture and marvelous fresh food Florence has to offer. After a day walking around Florence and its hills you can leaf through our selection of books about the Italy, Tuscany and Florence, including guides, some hefty art books, and recipe books. With the well-equipped, fitted kitchen you can make the most of the fruit and vegetable market just around the corner, and the cornucopian markets in the Soffiano suburb. There is a folder of tips about shops, restaurants, and travel in Florence; we shall welcome your own findings to add to it. There are also some other little touches to make life comfortable and easy in Florence: a washing machine, clothes line, iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, a big English/Italian dictionary - and a range of wellies. The house is gas heated (not much in demand between April and October); the heater gives hot water as you need it. For your comfort, all bed linen and bath towels are provided. Attractions Activities   Recreation located at the Resort or On Premise Lounge The living area has a large window-door to the balcony of the apartment, and it is furnished with great pieces of antique furniture. In the living area there is a large sofa for comfortable casual seating for 3 to 5 people.  Kitchen The fully-equipped fitted kitchen has double sink, oven, hob, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. The breakfast/preparation table seats 4 to 6.  Appliances :   Bathroom(s) The bathroom has a wash-basin, a shower, a toilet, and a bidet. There is a washing machine for your clothes, and a cloth line on which you can dry them strung on the balcony. The window looks out over the hills of Florence: you feel like you were in the great Tuscan countryside, but you are still in the heart of the city of Florence. The bus stop takes you in 5 minutes to the heart of historical Florence and is just one block away from the apartment. Florence's airport is appx. 10-12 minutes by taxi from the apartment. Taxis are relatively cheap (and reliable) from the airport. You should expect to pay appx. 12 to 20 Euros max. (it depends if on rush hours and traffic conditions). Furnished apartment rental, from 3pm on day of arrival to 11am on day of departure. Earlier occupancy and / or later departure may be available at no additional charge. ? All utilities. ? Linens and towels. ? The apartment will be cleaned shortly before the arrival of each new guest. Neither maid nor laundry service during your stay is included in the rental cost. ? Final Cleaning Fee is between 50 and 100 ? per single stays, to be paid at arrival. ? A complete list of furnishings is available upon request via e-mail. Payment Conditions ? A deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is required to reserve the aparment, payable by check or money order (please contacts us for money transfer details). Balance is required at arrival. The property is reserved only upon receipt of deposit. Security Deposit Renters must pay a bond - security deposit equivalent to 50% of the total rental cost (with a min.of ? 400) at the arrival. This serves as a guarantee against damage to the contents of the apartment. This deposit may be made only by cash or travellers' cheques. Cancellation and Refund Cancellations must be sent to my address. They are effective when received in writing (via electronic mail), during the business hours of the office to which they are sent. If received by e-mail, they must be confirmed within 24 hours by a fax with the signature of the renter. If cancellation is received 30 or more days prior to the first rental date, 70% of the deposit amount paid is refunded.
